Being the boss!!

ya thats right.. everyone wants to be the boss.. but its really difficult sometimes. the job as such is not really difficult, its the part where you have to deal with people. i'm really not that good with people to begin with, on top of that my job requires me to deal with diffrent kinds of people every single day. what i decide to do that day actually decides how their day goes!! it also feels really nice when the guys ask me if they can have 2 hrs off on a sunday afternoon.. i can say yes or i can say no. mostly i say yes, i dont like to be an a-hole boss. on the other hand, i really hate it when i have to say no. thats the hard part, lettin people know that i am the boss and also letting them know that i'm not a robot.. well.. we learn somethin new everyday.

on that note, i actually played poker last night. it was me, captain, chief engineer, a 3rd engineer and a 2nd officer. i must say that i am actually quite awesome at this game. its all about how you place ur bets. its not so much about the cards you have, but actually how you play the game.. its about the people you are playing with. even though it was my first time actually playing with money, it was'nt much. it was a pool of 5 usd each and i came 2nd. i actually got my money back!! some might say beginner's luck.. but i beg to differ.. i actually studied the rules and played seriously, and the surprising part is that i had fun while at it!!

this blog i am posting right now is actually thanks to my ex. i must say i am glad to have her as my ex and as a friend. we've been through quite a lot over the past years.. and it finally looks good now. thanks M.
